alongside the peer pressure dj's and i <3 neon regulars, some guest players performed, particularly Crystal Castles! we got to the stage, but couldn't get in front of alice glass. at some points, she was in the crowd wild'n out. i so wanted to be there, cop a frign feel. she smacked someone on the head with the mic too. that could've been me. :(

overall the night was fun. the lineup was a struggle, waiting unnecessarily, surrounded by a group of (hot enough) blondes with annoying malibu barbie voiceboxes. ugh. sadly no ladies threw themselves at me. hopefully this new year will prove to be more frequent. tho i did want to throw myself at alice glass, literally. and after crystal castles, my right side of my face went numb and my hearing in my right ear was muffled. good shit! kudos to the guy rockin the 'we run mtl' tee. the beer was gross. either that or steppin down to cheap beer from pre-gamin heinekens killed the taste. i love the bathroom. the countdown was kinda weak. the djs kept partying it up while everybody was counting down with the light show. i was kinda hoping for something more 'official' but it was good enough. in retrospect, it was a helluva party, but thats it. just another party. it definitely wasn't worth the admission, but i have no regrets. i got to dance. thanks jelly, kev n caro for all the love!

merry christmas!

to one and all! hope everybody had a great christmas. i sure did...


mine was pretty quiet. think thats the age effect. that and half my family are in the west coast.

been a busy month, my sister was down at the beginning of december for my pops 60th birthday. HAPPY BIRTHDAY JIMBO! also had a physics final around the same time. then i've been christmas shopping. such a struggle. next year, strictly online shopping for christmas gifts.

after all that, finally had a break before this holiday week, and relaxed with some hookah action accompanied with jd/coke. last session of the year.

met up with kev n jelly again to exchange our gifts after christmas. no hookah this time, but had guitar hero 3 to jam to, courtesy of john's Wii. and by pure accident, me n kev got jelly the same gift. lucky!

what it do my $%&!

been so busy lately. pure juggling over here. fell off this here diet.


past month or so, i've been busy working for my end of term critique for painting class. went well. wasn't too satisfied with my work, and i think it kinda reflected in the class' evaluation. i didnt really focus hard on my class work, feeling pressure to finish some personal work. either way, it went smooth enough.

my art theory class, this month alone had me write up 4 papers. 2 of which i just handed in yesterday as well. first two i crammed the night before it was due, and came out with B's to my surprise. so... i did it with these last two as well.

my night classes have been ahrite too. study wise im cool. but i hate the girls in my class. they're frign hot, but are honestly the dumbest chicks on the planet. which aint hot. conversations are sooo frustrating, it physically hurts me. ughs.

lately i've also made moves to get back into basketball and made it happen. i've come to realize, that no matter how cheesy and very filipino-ish, filipino basketbball is, it still is organized ball. i was able to get the funding, a team together, prepared jerseys, some gym time, and did the damn thing all in two weeks before the registration deadline. so im kinda like jordan with the wizards. i'll be gm-ing, co-capn and gaming. just shorter.

this past saturday, we had our first game and cruised to an easy w. we played dirty old timers, but i'll take it. they should be the easiest of the 9 teams in our division. and we may be one of the weakest teams. but that's part of the fun. and underdogs are just cooler. hehehe.

oh and i copped some fly new kicks too of ebay. my first pair of ball shoes over 4 years. just came in yesterday.
