i had a couple of reasons wanting to come back from new york this past saturday. one, was to have a relaxing sunday to rest up before going back to work. second, my dad was expecting his duty-free chivas for his fight night party. third, the big reason, pacquiao's fight debut in the lightweight division.

pacquiao destroyed diaz. DESTROYED. just compare their faces at the end of the fight. manny was still pretty. diaz looked like frankenstein. this fight really convinced me that pacquiao is frign strong. but what got the entire room of uncles and myself included, was how pacquiao' speed overwhelmed diaz. pacquiao was throwing 5 punch combos and hitting with each punch.

"He was just too (bleeping) fast..."

DESTROYED. diaz couldn't even tag pacquiao. it was soo bad, i felt a lil sorry for diaz. even sadder was the fact that diaz was defending his lightweight title, but was still drivin a shitty honda with no a/c. even in losing, he got paid. this was a great fight to watch... if you're a pacman fan. he really is shaping up to be a complete boxer. he looked downright invincible.

im proud. and i can say this without being bias, he's up there with ali, tyson and de la hoya. he's the face of boxing now. i wouldnt be surprised if he's the cover of the next fight night. he may not live up to be as legendary as those guys, but his name is there. and that is just crazy.
