Boom Dizzle!

he's straight outta compton. drafted outta UCLA. he made golden state HOT. he's the godfather of the Game's son. he has posterized plenty (KG, Yao). blessed at rucker park as "Too Easy". and the very next jersey i'd rock will have his last name on the back of it. and clippers on the front actually...

and he's the biggest joker.

Baron Davis.

p.s. yo peep this and check out 5:29. say what? awesome!
p.s.s. he's not from compton. somebody lied to me...

DeathSTAR! made in china

via Gizmodo.

and i thought the world trade center towers were a big target. its utopic and excitingly futuristic (and environment friendly! supposedly) but it's... scary.

shotgun!

the protoype

i had the biggest crush on Caitlin of degrassi (*jr. high especially). i think she's the reason why i love short hair on the ladies. those were the days...

fuck joey jeremiah.

sigh...

coldass grey

just arrived today. my 'man-purse' wasnt cutting it for my school books, and seems like shoulder bags are all the rage at school. fug that! couldn't find a school bag i liked around town, so had to ebay it. kept it classic with jansport, and the orange accents are stylin. sold.

actually...

...in comparing the helmet size to the overall height, the anatomic proportions are obviously impossible.

therefore in conclusion, that is NOT darth vader. but i'd force choke that lady vader any day...

boobs!

my champlain bridge

im on the US election hype. as for the Canadian election, not so much. until now. news revolving around a particular bridge that i use twice a day for the past 5 years has come up. word on the street is that my Champlain Bridge, the connection between the south shore (4-5-0 ye-yea!) and the island of montreal, is an issue that has weight in the upcoming elections. The Bloc owns the south, and if the Liberals and Conservatives want any love here, they're aiming to get it with plans on fixing the bridge. tear it down and build a new super bridge? sounds awesome. if it can be done in a day, im down. but construction downtime is a bitch and it'll take years to build a new frign bridge. not sure if all that hassle is worth it, no matter how awesome it'll be in the end. during construction, i'll have no clue how i'll get unto the island. even if i take the bus, it would be close to an hour long detour. Point is, i have reason to follow this Canadian election.

peep the story here.

FYI: I voted for Harper. this time around, i doubt it. whoever shows the school system love can count me in.

P.S. This reminds me of last week. i was walkin to school and passed an innocent apartment complex, and at that moment i locked eyes with a man walking out the door. Ex-Prime Minister Brian Mulroney! i think. he appeared he was expecting me to approach him cause i recognized him. fug that. easy homie, i don't know you like that. walkin away, all i kept thinkin was: "Your son' a douche!"

P.S.S. This also reminds me of another coincidence. last summer i was pickin up a friend at a hotel downtown, and while i pulled up to the front door, out comes a man with his wife (i suppose). i recognized his face but didn't know his name. afterwards, i told my friend and we tried figuring out who he was. i didnt even know what party he was affiliated with. it was the NDP leader Jack Layton. go figure.

winter hunting

with winter around the corner, i just need these last two pieces and im set for my entire school career (and beyond)...

with my fruity look, i need a dash of hood for balance. keep it classic too.
wu-tang forever!

and a coat that wont make me look 12, with a hood... again, to keep it hood.

can't find one online right now, but i've always liked Han's parka in ESB.
if its good for Hoth, its good for me!

this cap is a definite 'want' rather than a 'need'...
but its just so pretty.

LHC continued

other than trying to replicate a miniature big bang, the LHC can potentially create a black hole. if so, we can either all die vaporized in a explosion of light, or implode into nothingness.

The Renaissance.
Oct. 14? or Nov. 4th?

Semester 1 Rundown

taking 4 classes at dawson in lab tech:

pre-cal: my teacher is pretty hot. either my desperation level is affecting my standards, or yea she is hot... or should i say hot enough? hehehe. ugh.

intro. to lab tech: this is the first class i've ever had that's totally devoted to getting you that money. the class title mislead me to believe there would be lab work involved, but none whatsoever. our classwork is talkin about the industry, how to get the job, what to look for, the status of the market, etc. i soaked it up. my teach also had unique glasses that snapped together at the bridge of his nose. say wha? pimpin.

gen. chemistry: my teacher is originally from sarajevo, an aunty type lady with an accent. nice. interestingly, she partially lost her hearing when her town was bombed. heavy!

my class peers are... meh. and i'm stuck with em for the next 3 years. first off, no hot girls. most are guys, the kind that aren't cool but are nice? jah. couple of aunty types that slow down the class cause they're not familiar with computers. so topics like e-mails and word processing is painful.

i have a familiar face tho from one of my night classes for the prerequisites. Dimitri. he has a lil jr. 'autistic' quality to him. he's like socially inept. he had already ruffled the class a few times. i can stand him, but for three years? from the start, i set him straight. yes i know you, yes i'll work with you, but don't ever bug me. so far so good. nice guy, but in small doses.

in conclusion, i'd take school over work anyday.

yippe-kay-yay motherf*ckas.

apple breaks heart

ugh. ever since i've hopped on the Apple bandwagon, i've stayed in touch with their news. now with their new refreshed line of gear from their "Let's Rock" event, i can't help but feel cheated. before the event i've expressed plenty of gripes (among a plethora of pros, mind you) with my recent purchase of my macbook and ipod touch. more so with the touch tho.

the first day i had the ipod touch, i already played with the thought of selling it. if i had known an upgraded version of the ipod touch was coming out, i would have definitely done so. my macbook 'Noir' was the only thing i really essentially needed. the touch was honestly expandable. my big three 'gripes' were:

a) it's too big for a portable device. i couldn't listen to it while working, stored in my pocket due to the size.

b) lack of exterior music control access. i would like to refrain from pulling out such a flashy device in public as much as possible. and having to directly navigate within the touch just to toggle the volume or skip to the next song did not help.

c) exterior speakers. i wanted so bad for this to be my alarm clock and it won't do that without some internet searching, program downloading and a lil hacking. fuck that. be a clock and show me the time! be an alarm and wake me up in the morning with my song of choice! do something frig. yuck.

the more i play around with it, i find that many areas Apple sacrificed functionality and the practical all for a more unique interface. and these aren't like fantastical 'i wish it can do the impossible' type of gripes, but common-sense every-day-useful type shit. gahd! anyhow, with the new 2nd gen. touch i can only sell mine under the original value. nobody will pay the same price for an older touch (used even). bastards. i should've trusted the Force.

so in conclusion, me and Apple have had our first fight. i will never look at her the same.

duped.

alive to see another day

... to see it blow up on another day.

and stephen hawking gives the LHC the middle finger. hehehe

boom!

can i get a-

...FUCK YOU!

what's worse than police? toy cops. mall security. office security. westmount public security. went out last night and had trouble walkin back to my car with some friends. i was gloating how i found free parking for the day in which a security truck (like in the picture) came into view behind us.

"Shit. Bitch better not have given me a ticket, fuck."

the truck passed us and came to halt a few feet ahead of us. walkin passed it, the 'bitch' asked if i had something to say.

"Nope."

and continued on saying to watch my mouth.

"Sure... ?"

powertrip to the 5th degree. it was prolly her bleeding day.
i didnt care much of the 'exchange' but atleast i can walk away saying:

"So... a HOT chick talked to me today."

she was HOT .

fuck the police!

art. beer. lazy. acids.

with the new look celebrating a year of blogging, my intentions have gone through an upgrade of sorts as well. i still aim to share my own personal perspective on present day 'culture' ranging from the popular and all that is geek. i have also started in a new direction in my education, undertaking a 3 yr. career program in Analytical Chemistry at Dawson College. i'll be sharing my acid-base adventures from here on. as for my aspirations in reaching that 'artist' status, that will temporarily put on hold. i have plenty of time afterwards to continue to get my BFA. i will continue my practice, but sadly on a lower priority (meaning when i have the time). that's pretty much it.

another important fact is that, i will be updating on a more regular and frequent basis. armed with my new trustee macbook "Noir' and having plenty of available time on my breaks at school, this blog'll be more busy than the Mos Eisley Cantina during happy hour!

show some love and keep me on the regular.

here's to another year.

stacy d-dash!

this video popped into my head out of nowhere at work last night...

classique.

*for the record, i prefer stacy dash over halle berry.

hot.

we gotta do this!

word on the street, the suits of montreal are aiming to bring back the international and universal exposition to montreal in 2020. mtl hosted in '67 and it was considered the most successful fair in history. it did wonders for the city, inspiring a baseball team, the birth of the architecturally weird Habitat 67 and the Biosphere, finalizing the metro subway system and the underground city (mall thing), and gave reason to play God with the St-Lawrence and spawning man-made islands (dubai what!). it was also a big draw for my parents to immigrate to montreal. so technically, if expo 67 happened in Russia, i'd be bloggin in a java u in russia now, hehehe.

the city needs a boost (apart from winnin that BOARDWALK spot in monopoly). we're due for another golden age. the 60's and 70's was the last bright era (expo '67 and the 76' olympics). since then, seems like the city's been coasting.

anyhow, 2020 is quite far, prolly have kids by then, but its exciting to think about it.

peeps the news here.

let's make it happen!

loving that galaxy far far away

im coming across a lot of star wars action on the 'net' here surfin at java u...

RD-D2 Alarm Clock Projection via gizmodo.com

i'd get this if the alarm was a projection of leia tappin artoo, repeating "... help me obi-wan, you're my only hope." leaving me to respond groggily each mornin, "yea thats right baby, who's your master." EVERY-time...

Death Star over San Fran via exclusivetm.com

im still on this shit... i let this shit play in the background whenever. first time thru, my mouth was open for a good minute. second time, the only thing running thru my mind was how if that shit was real, i'd drop everything in my life and sign up for the Imperial Academy ASAP. "...but j, they're evil." evil shmevil. i wanna ride the frign Death Star son!

BAPE's Nigo's SW Collection wordup mstrpln!

not a fan of BAPE, but the man behind the empire has a collection that owns my respect. clickity-clak to jump to the youtube video. shit reminds me of Rob Schneider's "The Benchwarmers" where jon lovitz character is a geek billionaire with SW (n other geek culture) memorabilia. reason enough to rent the movie. i wonder if nigo has that artoo alarm clock...

The Clone Wars Movie

nope. still havent seen it. and in no rush to do so. meh. straight up, im tired of the clone wars. did they really need a clone wars movie? i do think the clone wars as a subject has endless story possibilities. but you dont need an animated movie to explore that. i've seen enough of anakin. i wanna see Vader. i wanna see Vader in his prime, hunting down Jedi. animate that!

i find your lack of faith, disturbing...

hoity toity

guess who's bustin his too-cool-for school macbook Noir in a oh-so-hip Java U writing up his BLOG with a tea and muffin rockin an american apparel v-neck & hoodie?

(not actually java u...)

i'd never would have thought i'd be in such a... stereotypical position.

5 years ago (or is it 8? dayam...), if i got that Computer Science DEC, by this time i'd be this guy:

...what? yea, i'd be black.

p.s. in my defense, im only at java u cause Calories is still under renovations. other than that, guilty as charged.

conformity is a bitch...

bring it back barack!

I don't watch much tv. i was on the olympics recently. i do sportscenter with breakfast. the times i do sit down to peep tv, i'm on CNN. i love me that CNN. i eat it up, particularly the big 3: oil price drama, energy vs. environment, and hoyea, the presidential race! even tho im frign canadian. but i cant help but feel that anticipation and hope of change down there in the US. and whatever happens, the changes (good and bad) will be felt up here. im with Barack Obama. but even if Barack (KOW) falls, John McCain aint bad either.

With Obama in office, he'll bring back that charm and the dominant image the U.S. once had. hell with his skin color, if he was white i'd still have his back. i see him as the people's champ. its cool he talks about changing the country for the better, but with him its the bigger picture, i get the sense he aims to regain that super power image that leads the world with their own positive actions.

Hillary Clinton, of the three, would have done the best job actually. now that i think of it. she has the charm and new image of change, along with the experience and that female determination to get the job done. and Bill in her corner, she'd have a great mentor.

McCain did time. he's a soldier (or marine, wtv) and he has the motherfckin army behind him. of the three, he would be the only one that can bring home their troops from afghanistan properly and efficiently. he knows war first hand and what it takes to fight and end war. he wont bring the new hope of a better America, but he'll do the job. and his VP Sarah Palin does give him some hip points. she brings some of the Hillary flavor. and yes, she's real easy on the eyes.

All three bring the hope. only two left. exciting times.

U-S-A! U-S-A!

catch this!

the other day, a class was spent in examining the term 'catch-22' for some reason. lost like luke in the middle of hoth, i wikipedia-ed the mother.
